Want to get a kick start to your morning?  Try this great tasting smoothie recipe on the way to work.

  1. Wash kale and blueberries well. Remove the kale leaves from stem.
  2. Liquify ingredients in a blender.
  3. Enjoy.

Blueberry and pineapple is a refreshing combo – tangy and tart. Pineapples are full of vitamin C, and blueberries are a potent source of anthocyanins, an antioxidant compound that helps keep our brain sharp and our cardiovascular system functioning smoothly. Blueberries also contain quercetin, which is a well studied flavonoid found in berries that is thought to protect against heart disease.
